We had a stellar showing at the Virginia State Championship Regatta on Saturday. Of the six boats entered, all qualified for the final in their respective categories — we’re so proud of their accomplishments this season.
- Men’s Junior Quad earned a bronze medal in a fast category
- Women’s Junior Quad placed 4th, 9 seconds back from 3rd place, rowing a valiant comeback after catching a crab at the start
- Women’s Freshman Quad rowed in the Junior category, making strides every week
- Women’s Senior Quad won the State Championship
- Men’s Senior Quad earned a bronze medal in a photo finish with a mere 1.8 seconds separating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places
- Men’s 2nd Quad, comprised of 2 returning rowers and 2 novice rowers, advanced in their heat to qualify for the final

Onward to Nationals
Women’s Sr Quad qualified for the SRAA National Championship Regatta being held on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on May 22-23, 2026. The Men’s Senior Quad will also participate in Nationals in the Junior Quad category.
